Who inhabits the earth in the Day of Christ?

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind” (Isaiah 65:17).

The “new heavens and a new earth” is a reference to the Pre-Millennial Kingdom of God—The Day of Christ. This doesn’t refer to Revelation 21:1.

The great theme of the Day of Christ will be the Reign of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Sovereign of the Universe. On the New Earth, a new world order will be in existence. Also, the New Heavens will have new hierarchy. This new hierarchy in the heavens will be new, inasmuch as the Church, over which Christ Jesus is the Head will be superior to all of heavens’ rulers.

Christ Speaks from Heaven

The dispensation that follows the Dispensation of God’s Grace will be the Day of Christ. The Day of Christ begins when Jesus Christ assumes the Sovereignty of the whole world and all earthly governments as the King of kings and Lord of lords. When this Pre-Millennial Kingdom becomes manifest, all things will be restored to the state as they were after the Six Days of Creation. This will be a world we can barely comprehend. Everyone who is granted admittance into this new world will enter it free from the curse of sin of the old world. Christ will rule the earth from His Heavenly Throne. He will audibly speak from His Throne in Heaven.  Matthew 13:19 refers to Him, in parable form, speaking “the word of the kingdom.”

"Church" originally meant - A government body of legislators

Let us write anew, on the tables of our hearts, the genesis of the Biblical meaning of “church.” The Greek City-States were, perhaps, the first highly organized Democratic societies. Their legislative assemblies, which were their political bodies, were called the “Ekklesias.”

“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” (Ephesians 2:2).

In the lower atmosphere, there is a world-wide Kingdom of Darkness which is ruled by the Dark Prince, who is Satan. He directs, orchestrates, manages, and manipulates the “course of this world.”

The Peter Principle will be unknown

During the Dispensation of the Grace of God, the warfare we are called upon to wage is not that of this world. Even though we are living in this world, we do not wage war as this world does. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the warfare of this age. The weapons at our disposal are supernaturally empowered prayers, capable of demolishing spiritual strongholds of Satan’s wicked forces in the heavens, as well as, standing-fast against his wicked forces of Darkness.
